MEMPHIS, TENN, May 3, 2007 – Embassy Suites Hotels today announced plans to open its first hotel in Montreal, Quebec -- the brand’s second in Canada -- located directly across from the renowned Palais de Congrés de Montréal, Montreal’s Convention Center.

The hotel -- set to open in July -- is owned by Vancouver-based Aquilini Group Properties LP and will be managed by Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc. The 210-suite hotel exhibits the brand’s international growth plans and continued integration into the Canadian market.

The hotel will also carry the “by Hilton” moniker in its name and exterior signage. Recently, the brand announced it will add “by Hilton” to existing and future hotels in Latin America and Canada, along with sister brands Hampton® and Doubletree®.

Located in the heart of downtown in Montréal's Quartier International, the hotel has 210 suites and sits ideally located for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel will feature guest amenities consistent with all Embassy Suites Hotels, such as spacious, two-room suites that include a separate living area with a sofa bed and desk, private bedroom and bath, two televisions, two dual-line phones, high-speed Internet access, a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave oven, and an iron and ironing board. In addition, the Embassy Suites – Montreal will offer the EmbassyDirect™ Registration Kiosk, with boarding pass printing capabilities, complimentary business center access, a convenient complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and a complimentary two-hour Manager’s Reception* each evening.
